We provide training in five essential areas  of study for pastors

1. Systematic Theology.

It is assumed that participating pastors will be proficient in orthodox Reformed theology; consequently this module offers a more detailed study of systematic theology. Attention is given to contemporary developments and debates insofar as they are directly relevant to pastoral ministry and the life of the church.

2. Biblical Theology.

In recent years significant advances have been made in the study of the unity of Scripture.  However, these developments have created a measure of confusion and a loss of confidence as to how we are to understand the Scriptures. The aim of this module is to assist pastors as they seek a consistent and accurate hermeneutic.

3. Pastoral Studies.

Many of the problems faced by church members arise as a result of dysfunctional cognition. This impairs the ability of people to function in many areas of their lives, including their spiritual lives.  Also, there is presently a marked and rapid increase in the number of people presenting with serious personality disorders.  The aim of this course will be to equip ministers with the skills and confidence to help those with such problems.

4. Historical Theology and Church History.

This module aims to enhance the minister’s understanding of current issues and debates within the church by considering them in the light of the experience of the Church in the past.

5. New Testament Greek.

A working knowledge of Biblical languages is a vital tool to be utilised in preparing to accurately proclaim God's Word. This module aims to help men gain (or regain) a level of proficiency in New Testament Greek through textual analysis.
